Promotionspreis der GANPH 2025
Im Rahmen des VIII. Internationalen Kongresses der GANPH, der im September 2025 an der Universität Fribourg stattgefunden hat, wurde zum zweiten Mal der Promotionspreis der GANPH verliehen. Der Preis ist mit einem Preisgeld in Höhe von 2.000 Euro dotiert.
Die diesjährige Jury hat beschlossen, den ersten Preis zu teilen:
Der Preis geht somit sowohl an Leonardo Chiocchetti (Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München)
Kurzbiographie:
Leonardo Chiocchetti is a researcher whose work centers on the relationship between ancient Greek grammar and philosophy. He completed his PhD at LMU (Munich) in 2024 under the supervision of Christof Rapp, exploring the philosophical foundations of grammatical theory in Apollonius Dyscolus. He is currently turning this dissertation into a monograph for Brill while working on additional papers on Stoic metaphysics and semantics.

Kurzbiographie:
Tue Søvsø studied Latin and Greek at the University of Copenhagen. He completed his doctoral studies 2017-2023 as a DFG-funded fellow of the research training group “Philosophy, Science, and the Sciences” at the Free University and Humboldt University in Berlin. The title of his thesis was “Cicero’s Stoicism - Sceptical Reflections on Stoic Ethics” and was written under the supervision of prof. Bernd Roling (FU) and prof. Charles Brittain (Cornell University).

Den ersten Rang auf der von der Auswahljury erstellten Shortlist 2025 erhielt Alexandra Alván León (Universität Münster) für ihre Dissertation mit dem Titel: Die Rezeption und die Umdeutung der aristotelischen Theorie des Intellekts bei Alexander von Aphrodisias.
