Meisterkurs on 'John Philoponus' theory of tridimensional prime matter' / 17.06.2025 / Jena

The DFG-Graduiertenkolleg 2792 'Autonomie heteronomer Texte' at Friedrich Schiller University Jena cordially invites to the Meisterkurs, which will be given by Prof. Dr. Michael Griffin on 17 June from 4:15-7:45 p.m. The topic will be 'John Philoponus' theory of tridimensional prime matter'. We will read and discuss Philoponus'  De Aeternitate Mundi Contra Proclum, XI, 3–6.

Participation is free of charge, but we kindly ask anybody interested in participating to contact matthias.perkams@uni-jena.de beforehand. Online participation is not possible, and we cannot cover any travel costs for external participants.
